It does have color here though?
The Christmas tree existed long before Christ and is probably pagan in origin though.
I did something like that as well, last time we had a lot of good snow. Made a snowman that sat on the bench in front of our house. Put clothes on him as well.
Can imagine. We didn’t, because it’s only my SO and me and we only have one bedroom. And we got sick at the same time, so stayed in bed while it was running it’s course and when we felt better, just read books and watched movies. Lockdowns were worse, but we went on long walks then, we were still allowed outside while keeping distance from others. And we worked from home, so that occupied our days as well.
We never had the big window displays here, but we do have Christmas trees in the centre and some shops decorate their windows with lights and some Christmas attributes. Also, our gift giving was always on December 5th, for St. Nicholas, so the weeks before that were usually the shopping spree’s. But it is changing, lots of people here are also starting with the Christmas gifts. Makes me sad that national traditions are fading and soon everywhere you go in the world will be the same.
Yep, it’s the reason I disabled the vibrate on my phone, I was always checking it, because I was sure I felt it vibrate.
I’d rather have a port infused blue Stilton.
No worries, where I live, you’re actually allowed to take your drink into the theater. They even have small tables attached to the very comfy chairs.
Me neither, I will take a drink into the movie theater though.
I only know the age of Aquarius from the musical Hair. But I feel your frustration. Had it myself once when I asked my parents for a nice piece of jewelry, a small heart with a rose in it. My dad thought a heart was to girly and bought another pendant hanger with a rose. I was so disappointed. But in my case, mum came to the rescue when she saw my frustration about it and exchanged it for the pendant hanger I really wanted. Still have it, with matching earrings, broche, ring and bracelet I acquired over the years.
