We are like every other state in the union: we are almost equally divided between registered Dems and registered reps. The almost being about 1%—and de santis is going to redistrict next week. That’s supposed to be the legislature’s job, but de santis has taken it upon himself. . .so it seems likely the minority will still rule. But miracles can happen, if we work like he** and get out the BLUE VOTE!!!!

The reps have a long, long record with wanting to close down public schools. they want private, money-making schools. . .and anyway, an educated populace is too dangerous for their survival.

Come, come. According to ronnie: “History is good and bad. There’s all kinds of things that happen, but I think that the story is, is that because that we were founded differently on different ideas — about God-given rights and the way the government, uh, the proper role of people’s lives, people have been able to triumph over a big, big challenges." ""We’re unabashedly promoting civics and history that is accurate and that is not trying to push an ideological agenda," he said.

Doncha LUV these republican comedians who can say stuff like this with a straight face? I’ve always thought he looked like marjorie greene. . .

desantis’s newest “policy” is a three-day “civics” workshop expounding the “facts” that slavery was no big deal—TJ and GW were against slavery (leaving out the fact that both owned slaves) and that, actually, the “founding fathers” were not against separation of church and state. He’s also going to be allowed to draw FL’s voting district map this week. This man is beyond dangerous.
