I feel that. Our living room only manages a couple recliners and a loveseat.

    Lately I’d need a redwood.

I suspect this could be a conversation in a large percentage of marriages that have lasted over 25 yrs.

Now that’s a feature one could get behind. Timers for phone power. I just make mine do not disturb except for the “kids”.

Hard to force sleep last evening an hour early. Settled for 1/2 hr for that and dinnertime.

Tile makes a fob for that. Press the one on your keys and your phone rings (if you know where your keys are).

That’s a lot for a kid. My Ex was a restaurant manager. We moved the kids every 2 yrs when his position required. Once we got divorced (yes it was part of the reason) we settled in a town, and I made a promise that we’d never move again as long as they were in school, including college. It meant working in a factory for many years but I kept that promise. I don’t think kids should be moved if possible. But as an adult I really wanted to see different places, live in different kinds of homes. All have been in the same 60 mile radius, and I still wish I could live in NYC for even 6 months but my illness says, nope. So I’m glad for the 13 places I did experience.
