Don’t mind him, he’s just … rubbing the statue… A bit vigorously I might add.
I’d go with “whoopsie daisy”. It’s sounds a bit sweeter and more innocent. Good luck!
I’m mid fiftees, but have been roofing for thirty years. I always tell people that roofing years is like dog years on your body. I definitely feel older than my age. Can hardly move anymore. You know … it’s ruff!
“…Now let’s go to the shooting range!”
“…And put that in a paper bag! … hold the paper!”
I’ll take one of each! Now All I need is some grandkids! (Married thirty-two years, and two grown kids. Won’t push them at all, but it will be nice when it happens. :-) )
He’s really wishing for some Scanners at this point.
Because you know the second you get rid of it that you’ll need it for something!
Not sure why we’re quoting scripture here (I’m guessing the “edge” part), but it is an interesting chapter to be sure. I’ve always appreciated that the context (verses 5-22) clarifies that that can’t be used as an excuse for wrongdoing … as often times is the case. Many people just like to quote that first part. I appreciate you bringing that up. I have my own issues from my upbringing, and I haven’t really thought about that passage in quite a while. It’s always good for meditation.
This one is multi-layered funny!
