   Of course, once the litter is used, the plastic bucket makes a good container for “used” (yuck!) litter. That said, I use the kind that comes in a 40 pound sized cardboard box that is nearly impossible to tear down or find an alternative use for. I used to use the plastic tub stuff for my two kitties, but didn’t strike on the obvious use for the tub until recently. (Is it that obscure a use? Apparently it is or I’m just too dense to realize it till my two cats are really particular about the stuff in their litter box needing to be the stuff from the indestructible 40 pound cardboard box and won’t use the stuff in the handy plastic tub.)

   Thank you! I just stopped by to post the same comment. It’s a pet peeve of mine. While it seems trivial, when I run into it in a store, I am tempted to take however many items it takes to make a complete cent’s worth up to the check out and insist they let me buy it for the price posted.

   I enjoyed it while it lasted. I’m sorry to see it go, but I imagine it is a trick to come up with new ideas to keep it fresh. (On the other hand, the Trump administration will take over shortly, and I’d think there’d be lots and lots of potential there!)

   mextea – You are aware of the qualifier in that article: the people were ALLEGED to be celebrating the Twin Towers destruction. It proved not to be true, and facts aren’t liberal or conservative.

   There was some celebration by Palestinians in Israel reported at the time. I don’t recall if there was substantiating video of the celebration or not, so this might be an allegation as well.

   Hugs and my deepest condolences. I’ve enjoyed your strip for some time. It reminded me a lot of my own mother and her friends. Mom died in 2013, and your strip reminds me of the funny things she said and did. I’m not surprised, then, to learn, you used your own mother and her friends as an inspiration.

   I don’t know about the other things, but I do know cat hairballs do cure walking barefoot in a room at night without first turning on the lights. Ew!
