That’s why I stayed with traditional bifocals when I got new glasses in January. The line doesn’t bother me. Now if I could just do something about those new bright white headlights on cars that seem like they are on high beam. (Cataracts aren’t “ripe” yet.)

    Bifocals or readers?

What? No chawin’ tabaccy? That way the could make a mess on the statues from both ends.

Number 3 should be back in a couple of weeks, once Lent is over.

Here is another one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOFG_qmoH8I Actually, think this might also be the horse Andy bet on. They don’t make them like this anymore.

3060 Reminds me of the story told about George Raft who reputedly went through $10 million. " Part of the loot went for gambling, part for horses, and part for women. The rest I spent foolishly."

Leave it to Mel Brooks to come up with the downside. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/067f3810-50a7-4a04-9f64-e2977bb51455 or for the longer version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AoHyjpHcOyw

Learned to type on a Royal manual (which I still have) and currently use an IBM Selectric II with the correcting feature. Blew the mind of a repairman’s son who came along with dad when I typed him up a check and then protected it with a check embosser. (prints the amount and embosses the paper so it can’t be altered.)
