   That middle panel reveals a great ability to describe imaginary scenes both in physical terms and social/emotional ones on several levels; Luann has far better literary potential than she gives herself credit for. Why is she always so drawn to agree with her own doofuness, when underneath there is so much potential?

   I don’t care about the word prissy, it’s funny. It’s a word someone pike Bern might use with her BFF to describe how she understands Lu is disturbed by how Tara interacts with her cousin. I’m not sure Walt/Piro even weird. Kinda subtle actually. Not like the boring nebbish, Aaron Hill

   Well there is a plot twist. Will Bern come in and sarcastically talk herself into skydiving too, if it happens, or some version of that scenario? Walt/Piro has quite an adventuresome side.

   I notice the body language here in that Luann is sitting further away from Walt/Piro than he is to his cousin. Interesting, I think her punchline comment is the funniest and truest. Where it goes, lets see.

   All kinds of silly sorrow for Luann over Tara’s silly, but true tease about Luann. Luann has a very active imagination, especially romanatically (not just boys actually, but the whole idea of romance) but she is woefully unhaready for romance. In terms of writing abilty, well the Luannverse jury hasn’t even been seated yet.

   This is such a long set up between Luann (and don’t forget repressed Bernice) and Walt/Piro as to which one will be his paramour, or he her (their) paramour as well. I think Walt and Luann anre made for each other, but what GnK see is another thing.

    Well, cousin gets the seat next to mystery man, slowly being unraveled. Will more be revealed? To me that is the most interesting question, although Lu’s ability to make him amused may prevail. By the way, he’s hardly a bum. a bit out-of-sorts but hardly easily dismisable as some useless layabout. Very typical of community college students who often need to sort themselves out while getting an education.
