   Masks really don’t do anything except give the wearers a false sense of sense of safety. Social distancing, hand sanitizer, and not touching your face are what really works.

   No organized soccer in my high school, but there were summer little leagues, for youngsters, at least by the mid-eighties. Even so, there were no “soccer” fields or “soccer” scoreboards, they just used the baseball outfield or the football field.

   To think I started reading this thread hoping there would be some actual debate, instead I find “Captain Clorox” and privatizing space arguments. You all should be ashamed for commenting on a subject you have no knowledge of and take your notes from partisan memos.

   Sitting at home and watching the news people might think that the whole country is still locked down. I thought so. But last week a friend picked me up and brought me to a hardware store, they had the signs up and the tape on the floor behind the checkout registers, but only 1 in 10 had masks. I’m in the heartland, a state with a population of just over 6 million, and a county with a population of 3/4 Million. There are 12,000 cases of Covid-19 in my state, and 1,100 of those are in my county. Outside of the major population centers in the northeast, the west coast, and large cities in between, this whole virus thing is pretty much being ignored – except for the businesses still shut down and employees still on furlough.

    I think the current (new) format makes it hard to find new comics. I’m sure there are ways (outside of going through them one-by-one), but I doubt I’ve added more than one or two since this new format started.
