    That’s his gambit, and why he’s so desperate. The federal cases he thinks he can make go away, or if needs be pardon himself.

    While we’re waiting for the verdict on “Absolut Immunity”, Biden should supplement the former guys security detail with a couple of Seals in full battle armament.

    They can tell trump they’re just waiting for orders.

    -off the top of my head, any other suggestions pls. add:

    1. Participate in a national, state or local political party (remember that political parties are usually neutral in primaries where the general election is often de facto decided);

    2. Participate in one or more political campaigns for candidates of your choice;

    3. Participate in one or more NGO’s (non-governmental organizations like Common Cause, League of Women Voters, Indivisible, etc.);

    4. Participate in the “voter apparatus” as an election judge, voter registration agent, employee of a Secretary of State at the State level or an Elections Bureau at the local level);

    5. “Just Show Up!”- March, write letters to the editor, attend public meetings of County Commissions, City Councils, School Boards and provide public testimony for democratic causes.

    6. Talk w/your friends, family, neighbors, especially the young voters, they have the most to lose and if they show up en-mass that’ll give the GQP their walking papers.

    10 months after Pro Publica exposed Justice thomas’s undisclosed gift$/gift$ from billionaires, the SC will now rule on presidential immunity with zero chance the justice will recuse himself despite his trump-cult wife’s shenanigans to help that loser steal the 2020 election.

    The GOP abdicated their duty already by failing to convict trump for 1/6. The 1/6 committee did their duty, but unfortunately the investigations and hearings died when the GOP took control of the House.

    We cannot rely on businesses and the rich to stand against trump. Many of them are already in his corner, and the rest don’t want to risk losing money or customers by crossing him. Businesses only care about the bottom line — saving democracy doesn’t figure into their balance sheets.

    Thus, we have to save America ourselves. We’ve got to vote the GOP out of power up and down the ballot for their sedition/treason against the nation we hold dear. But voting is not enough now. It is the least someone against fascism can do. If you can, do more if possible. Step off the sidelines and act as if your life is in great peril — because it truly may well be. Definitely if you are a woman, POC, immigrant, LGBTQ+ or non-xtian.

    And some were legally sanctioned, such as ending Title 42.

    Seems you triggered a racist snowflake “saturated” in nonsense. It’s rich when one of the halfwits from the party of useful idiots claims others are, when it’s been proven that trump is the traitor working w/our nations enemies.

    “PITY THE NATION”

    Pity the nation whose people are sheep,
And whose shepherds mislead them

    Pity the nation whose leaders are liars,
 Whose sages are silenced,
And whose bigots haunt the airwaves

    Pity the nation that raises not its voice,
 Except to praise conquerors,
And acclaim the bully as hero
, And aims to rule the world,
By force and by torture

    Pity the nation that knows,
 No other language but its own,
And no other culture but its own

    Pity the nation whose breath is money,
 And sleeps the sleep of the too well fed

    Pity the nation oh pity the people
who allow their rights to erode
 and their freedoms to be washed away

    My country, tears of thee
 Sweet land of liberty! —
Lawrence Ferlinghetti

    Once again, if it ain’t racist, homophobic, or misogynistic it ain’t a mo’lester.

    And once again it is the repugs that have sabotaged border legislation for party over country and humanity.

    cons are trying to ignore the fact that destruction of embryos is part of IVF.

    Mike Pence said the other day that he and his wife had conceived that way. That means they destroyed embryos. So his absolutist stand on abortion is complete hypocrisy. Destroying embryos is part of IVF because the alternative is horrific.

    If you had IVF but could not destroy embryos, you would have to force many women to undergo a surgical procedure that they don’t want.

    Imagine you created 8 embryos, you went through two implantations. You have two children. But you’re not done. The government will force you to go through 2-6 more pregnancies (implantations can involve 1 or 2 embryos).

    Imagine now your spouse dies. You still have to go through 2-6 more pregnancies you don’t want. Now imagine you die. SOMEBODY is going to have to incubate those embryos. Will people volunteer or will we force people to do it?

    Now imagine one of those embryos has three copies of chromosome 21. Down’s Syndrome. Guess what, you’re getting a Down’s Syndrome baby.

    Anti science, education cons cannot legislate competently, vote them out.

    Same and I appreciate your comments. I always confirm before I post because I value my integrity. I’ve been on this site for decades, long before GC and Uclick going back several iterations prior, never once banned or had to change my account name. We used to be able to add sources and proof, but they’ve made that onerous. We’ll always have the obnoxious morons that add no value, best to ignore and interact w/the adults.
