I'm a plain Holden Caulfield or a pretty Jimmy Hopkins, depending on what kind of nerd you are. (In a situation like mine, you can only think in metaphors...)

Mensch, the one time Sadie actually has good advice…

…although I’m starting to see why the Linksters (my former magazine’s nickname for the children of millennials and what is now called Gen-Z) are eschewing parenting for pets…

…and people wonder why there are population crises in Scotland and Japan…

According to Enterprise, in the historical Kobayashi Maru incident, John Archer attempted the rescue but was forced to retreat.

Hence the reason tailors in India create the “chor pocket” inside the waistband on men’s trousers.

(Actually to conceal bulk cash from pickpockets. Three years ago TikTokers in the West discovered that similar results could be achieved by stitching a solitary sock inside the waistband of a pair of jeans, aligning it parallel to the actual pocket.)

That mask had elastic bands, not strings to tie in a knot like this one. (And I know from experience that elastic tied in knots can hurt whenever it snaps.)

Not on your own – I meant this image would work if sold by an online outlet such as The Souled Store.

If it was possible to lease or sell this design out, outlets like Souled Store or Tantra would be able to push it for you.

I believe the Scots have earned the right to be free from the domination of the Crown…as much as the people of India did almost exactly seventy-one years ago now.

They might want to consider remaining part of the Commonwealth, though, unless the EU is willing to accept them…

…and after living among the Scots for a year, I believe that they need immigrants badly, and should thus consider the EU before the Commonwealth.

So, Fritz is in the vein of O’Brien,

Who, whatever he did, kept his tie on,

In the shower, or deck chair,

    He was sworn to declare

That “It shows I’m a man to rely on!”

David, I think you might mean “coarse” rather than “course” if you’re referring to consistency or texture in that sentence…

I always thought it was Bob Dylan rather than Bruce Springsteen who sang that line…
