This brought tears to my eyes. It’s a good thing for our soul to help those in need as opposed to feathering our own (cyber) nest…. Thank you, Gavin.

Ah, Gavin! Once again, brilliant & compassionate observations! Thanks for giving me some goose bumps, before breakfast. …. (Personal observation: spirit and courage reside in our cells and guts as well as in the cosmos…) Anyway thanks again & keep up the great work!!

Graduate to… life on the weed farm? Could be worse!

Bravo, Gavin Aung Than! Cynics among us might say, “Oh what about the great musicians who flamed out early?” (Hendrix, James Dean, Janis Joplin all died in their 20s); but I say living life to its fullest has nothing to do w longevity! Look at Jackie Chan (going strong at 68!); Paul McCartney (80) and Mick Jagger (79) ! Love your work, Gavin! Tally Ho!

Hats & personas should not be glued to our heads. I love all my hats; & am a dancer, therapist, artist, hiker, writer. All work. And you know what, I’ve been doing massage therapy for 41 years. Way past my expiration date! Why? My hats aren’t glued to my head. Go Mike!

A couple of Cokes every day. Diabetes never looked so good! And we wonder why heart disease is #1 killer in the USA. Mmm-mm! Oh sorry, didn’t mean to harsh your mellow. Drink up, Frank, Bernice and Luann! Insulin pumps are cool!

@ Robin Harwood— have you ever been a teacher? Actor? Or been in the helping professions (eg, counselor, psychotherapist)….? Or a Dad? There is something called Empathy — aka, walking a mile in another person’s shoes. This is what makes a good writer… Worth a Google search.

So sad, Luann is so needy for someone to listen to her, she’s giving away the homestead! … But I can relate - it’s so much easier to get people to look at my nature photos (or a quick comic strip!) than to actually read a paragraph! The latter takes, gosh I don’t know…? 10 seconds! The horror!
