An illustrator and a writer stumble into a Tiki bar---stop me if you’ve heard this one---BA-DUMP-BUMP! No seriously folks, after a few long nights and an over abundance of rum that’s pretty much how it went. Shortly after we created our comic strip, The Further Adventures of Mackie White, which was inspired by Michael's experiences living in the Caribbean, it was picked up for monthly publication in Latitudes and Attitudes Seafaring magazine. The characters in the strip represent all of the wonderful people Michael met long the way, and so we sincerely hope "Mackie White" is as much fun for you to read as it is for us to create. So “Pull a Mackie” and head on over to the island. Our comic will provide a much needed break from your daily grind and become a little vacation to the tropics, no airfare or slathering on sunscreen required. Our goal is to make you laugh and keep ourselves in rum money. So we'll see you over at the Iguana Bar...the first Blue Mackie’s on us!

Illustrated by Chris Champine
Written by Michael McMahon
