And Doug K did not attribute which author correctly — his mistake that needed editing. :)

Newer plant-based options are not-so god awful. Some are surprisingly quite amazing. And, oh to be sure, I am not trying to change your mind.

Oat milk is oh so yummy! Especially the vanilla and/or sweetened version. It is actually great on cereal. I like the subtle oat flavor. Almond milks, soy milks, cashew milks (yuck!) and others can sometimes be rather unsavory.

The answer is shockingly simple! GASP! Because those of us who grew up with meat, but can no longer eat meat, or choose not to eat meat, still have cravings for a burger, some mac and cheese and chicken, or mom’s meatloaf. And because of what is available today we have options that can satisfy those cravings. Why does it utterly offend so many? If you do not want to eat it, do not eat it.

There are far more people in the world than carnivores. You do not need to be offended. So many people complain about vegetarians and vegans — I honestly hear more whining from meat-eaters. All the people walking by those sections in the grocery store always make odd/rude comments — often times quite loudly. I never hear anyone yelling at the meat.

Sure, if you go outside of the definitions/framework/message of the strip.
