For help on how to follow a comic title,
Everyone knows that at the end of the rainbow trout there is a pot of gold fish.
Mynah, of course.
See, all that hellfire has to come from someplace…so the devil shops for it at fire sales, of course.
Foolproof, you say? Well, you ain’t seen the fools around here!
Tanks for a good laugh!
The sound effects are accurate…except for “honk.” I think the driver would be too busy trying to avoid impact to think about hitting the horn (let alone actually performing the act).
I like the humor. I’ll be back!
Sadly, Ahab has an excellent point. No sport that I know of, heck, no activity of any kind that I know of, is completely without some kind of risk. But this strip hits home in a big way today. A popular 17-year-old boy from one of our local high schools was injured in a football game Friday evening. He died night before last of his injuries. Do we still love football? Yes. Do the kids continue to play? Yes. How do we reconcile the love of the game with the risks of the game, particularly when they affect our young people? I truly don’t know. The chain is an apt metaphor.
That’s pretty much how I get anything around here…
I had this exact conversation with a neighbor this morning.
