   All mine are different. Some sit like a kid. Some ride shoulders. Some ride the forearm. One even likes to be upside down head furthest away from my body with his hindquarters higher than his head. That boy ain’t right.

   I know. All of my cats both present and past love laps and snuggles and pets. I have not until now had one that grunts at me when picked up. Not all wanted to be held but I wasn’t grunted at either. Hellfire purrs his little motor out when I pet him while he eats canned food. He runs when the food runs out though. He does come to me to sniff me and play and sleep with me and all the other cats and dogs. Silly kitty

   Hellfire update. How can I put this? Picking him up is like trying to hold onto a slinky made of Jell-o. Once I have him he grunts. Grunts! I think my cat is “special”. He is learning to cat from the boys and the dogs so we’ll see how he turns out. From sick feral kitten to ???

   Unfortunately sometimes reflexes give spontaneous flying lessons when woken from a deep sleep. I am not sure if his landings are good or not because I am still half asleep with bitten toes. I know he is fine because he comes right back for more. Sometimes he does get swatted by a Great Dane paw to signal enough is enough.

   Gold tabby. He has the clearest markings I’ve ever seen on a gold tabby too. He may think he is a tiger missing the black stripes though.

   Hellfire is settling in just fine. He is now sleeping on my bed with the dogs and cats and me. He grabs my feet regardless of movement on my part. He has decided that the TV on NAT GEO Wild is pretty cool too, he will watch many different channels though. Canned food and wand toys seem to have won him over. He is my Siamese’s mini me. Where goes one goes the other.
