   I know it has always been fun to crap on government workers, sometimes justified I would admit, but if all you name callers actually knew how much the government civilian workforce put their lives on the line on a daily basis in places where you think only our military are and who people love to say “thank you for your service” to when those same civilians you love to joke about are doing much the same thing if not a bit more in some situations, I think your respective mindsets would change a bit. All those dangerous places like various locations in the Middle East where our soldiers are stationed are usually supported by civilian government workers (not contractors) in that very same place.

   Actually you are kind of wrong. I worked in the government for a long time, and we were always told (well the last 10 to 15 years anyway) to stop creating so many paper documents and try to use and maintain a digital route instead. Unfortunately old habits are very hard to break, and from top to bottom it never seemed to happen.
