    In 1957 we saved up to go to California to go to Disneyland. I still remember my Dad paying $5.00 for a burger that could be bought for 35 cents at home. You paid for everything. As a kid I enjoyed Knotts Berry farm better. When Six flags opened in Arlington Tex. We were amazed all rides and shows for one price

    My wife counseled children who were victims of crimes. She liked to give a beenie-baby as an ice breaker. We would get new ones, still in packages, from collectors getting out of the business at garage sales. When she passed I had a bag of about 50 I threw away as nobody would take them. They were every where.
