   I’ve had good managers and bad managers. The good ones told me what needed to be done, then cut me loose to get the job done. If I needed anything to do the job, get it. Bad managers TOLD me how to do the job, to do more with less, and said “It’s my way or the highway” only once. I get your point though. With our latest reorg, incompetence is prevalent from the top on down. Enough so, that Dec. 31 is my last day and my GOOD manager is following me out the door.

   I learned in a 1962 Falcon Ranchero with 3 on the tree. Since then, I’ve had one more 3 on the tree, a non-synchro 4, a semi-synchro 4, and multi fully synchro 4’s. Currently have a 6 speed in the Wrangler and semi-auto with a clutch in our 1948 DeSoto.
