I’ve seen too many odd things in my lifetime not to believe there are bigger things than we can understand out there. I no longer touch Ouija boards though, and I’ll leave it at that.

When we bought this house, it was priced at the top of what we’d decided we were spending. We could have spent a lot more, but we wanted to bank a lot of the money we’d made on the house we sold. I didn’t want this house. I still don’t, but the property is to die for and my husband has everything he needs. But I digress…After moving in during October of the year we bought it, the weather turned cold in a hurry. I was sitting on the couch in front of the windows. It was very windy out. I was in. My hair was blowing…needless to say, we’ve spent half as much as what the house cost us and we’re still not done. I wish we’d spent the money and bought a house that was sound to begin with. I will never buy someone else’s hacked together problems again. And the previous owner was a terrible hack. Nothing has been an easy fix. I appreciate and mourn for all those dollar signs you’ve spent. I understand what you’re going through and hope you’re done spending and can enjoy things now. *hugs

I like a lot of artist’s Christmas stuff where I don’t listen to their mainstream music. I haven’t heard anything by Taylor Swift, I don’t think, except for an occasional Christmas thing once Halloween is done and my radios are tuned to constant Christmas. In the meantime, my eclectic tastes run from Broadway tunes to AC/DC…

We’re on three acres and don’t cut the last quarter so the natural flowers and weeds, including the goldenrod, can flourish for the migrating butterflies and birds. There’s also a small patch of reseeding sunflowers back there as well. :)

I’m a certified Monarch Waystation. :) I only had 8 chrysalize this year unfortunately but they all successfully eclosed. Their numbers are dropping every year and they’re still endangered. Poor things. I’ve seen a few more passing through this past two weeks because they’re starting their migration. We’re trying!

The Allies planned a deliberate ruse against Hitler for almost a year prior to their invasion on D-Day. They knew if Hitler got wind of it at all, it would fail. D-Day was their Hail Mary pass to end the war and it was definitely the turning point, though still a bloodbath. A short but good article on History dot com titled Fooling Hitler: The Elaborate Ruse Behind D-Day gives a good idea on the whole thing. I tend to think this is what BCN will do but of course in a much, much shorter time span. Not really lying, per se, but fooling the moles into thinking something different in order to save both sides. Georgia would certainly never kill anyone! But there has to be something done to bring harmony back and if fooling the moles is it, then it’s better than an all out war.

Also, that should read “considered late at the time.” Not a clue where the eggs came from except that spell czezh decided I don’t know what I’m trying to say.
