Fashion standards for all genders are getting ridiculous. Not just women.

For men, almost every ad makes you think you need bulging muscles and no body hair just to try on certain clothes.

According to Wikipedia, it’s one of her “Four Basic Guilt Groups.”

Not enough loose skin. They’d break a bone and/or tear something.

Also, it’s unsanitary. The fingers touch things, and the toes are a (ahem) “breeding ground.” Big time infection.

And last but not least… WHY?!

Um… Professional movers move the boxes and large furniture. They don’t actually pack for you.

Plus, think about it. Do you really want a stranger touching all your things, looking through them, and then packing according to their rules, not yours?

If this was the first Cathy strip someone read, or even if they’ve read others, but not very long/very many, they’d think this was the end of a toxic relationship (either friend, family, colleague, or romantic). But to me, who has read Cathy and numerous other series in print and pixel, I knew early on that this Sunday would be about some sort of inanimate object. And… [makes a popping sound with his lips to signify non-surprise] yup.

    Still funny, though!
