    Oh the showers are a god-send… but free… and every transport stop has them… On motorways and artery roads…

    But the most essential aspect of these stops… is their cleanliness…

    The food is self-service… Not exactly Cordon Bleu… but healthy options are available too…

    Trucks in the UK are hand-operated tools for moving boxes or barrels around in a warehouse, for example. Why would you want to stop them?

    BP have installed several transport cafés around the UK. Somewhere you could take your grandmother. Most have supermarkets. They all have lorry accessory shops. A few have a barber’s on-site. The food is excellent…

    In France, the relais routiers are even better. A complimentary bottle of wine on every table…
