Also, Caligula ordered his legions to scour the English Channel beach for seashells to take back to Rome as “plunder”.

Somehow, if Satan was real (and he isn’t), the last person I’d want to take over the world as the A.C., would be a moronic orange circus peanut.

Shouldn’t that be Winnie the pooh and Piglet standing there?

I agree that Biden is light years ahead of the Orange circus peanut (AKA TFG) or anyone in the Rethug camp that may try to topple him. However, Banker Joe, and most of the mainstream DNC, have a very real addiction to corporate money and the business interests that often go counter for what’s best for us as ordinary citizens. The past railroad crisis for example. Would it have crippled the Rail Barons’ bloated profits if Jumpin’ Joe had demanded and decreed ONE paid sick day a year for the rank and file? Really? The party of lame is capable of being much better than it is, and at this junction of climate change and human civilization, needs to decide if the lives of their (and ours) kids, grandkids, and descendants are worth more than campaign contributions and using the worn out excuse: “Well, we’re not like the other guys”.

Generally Vacant conveniently forgets we live in a society governed by rule of law. An orange moron commiting crimes, with mountains of evidence against him, can expect to be prosecuted regardless of the moronic mob that worships him. It’s not about politics, it’s about justice.

Native Americans believe(d) they belong to the earth mother, not the other way around.

Ted’s sense of irony is complex, and often in opposition of both blue and red perspectives. He notes for all the chatter of mainstream, and crazy, politics, obvious failings in healthcare, education, income/wealth inequality, organized labor, etc. continue and exacerbate. America is a nation of incredible potential, which makes it’s inability to meet basic human needs all that more astonishing, and discouraging. Ted’s creativity and imagination points this out, and makes for a strip worth reading just for the provocation to our comfort zones.
