Wow – doesn’t looked burned at all (nor uncooked). Or was that the colorist’s mistake?

Actually, certain people are expecting a body, the surprise for them will be whose body it is.

Oh, we’ve seen Andy without his hat – but never his face without his hat! ;)Today is one of those times!

Actually, go back to your Google Map of 1 Bedford St, Hartlepool, UK.

Now in the window on the left, under the picture and The Pot House, is the 1 Bedford St … address. Keep going down past the second picture. At this place lists The Pot House, Andy Capp Statue, The Pizza Stone …, and Headland Story Trail. So it claims the statue is at 1 Bedford St.

Now leave StreetView. (Use Satelite view to be sure where things are.)

If you zoom in all the way, you’ll see that this road has multiple names. From the Bedford St corner to just past the statue shows the street as Croft Terrace, with York Place starting in the grass to the right of the statue – but do NOT believe labels on Google (or Bing or MapQuest) Maps.

If you right click on the part of the roof closest to Bedford St, and choose What’s Here it’ll tell you either The Pot House or Pizza Stone …, depending on where you right-clicked, and give the 1 Bedford St address. But if you right click on the roof closer to Croft Terrace or to the statue, it’ll tell you Pot House and Croft Terrace, but no number (because the Pot House (& the Pizza place inside The Pot House) has an address of 1 Bedford St.

Now right click (and choose What’s Here) on the next building, Mary … Thai, it will call it York Pl (if you’re at the further end of that building, near the little number 12, it’ll say 12 York Pl).

Now right click on the stue itself, choose What’s Here, and it will say 1 Bedford St.

If you do a search for 1 York Pl, Hartlepool, UK, it would find the statue, but right click & What’s Here will show it as 1 Bedford St.

I remember years ago in Reader’s Digest – the Humor in Uniform (or whatever it was called). The guy was retiring from the military. "Where to? “Kansas” “So what are you going to do there?” “Create a ski resort” “Skiing? In Kansas? they don’t have any mountains” “If there’s one thing I’ve learned in 20 years in the military, it’s how to make mountains out of molehills!”

[Admittedly, the highest point in KS, Mt Sunflower, is over 4000’ – a lot higher than anywhere in FL ;) It’s a half mile from CO – and not far from the LOWEST point in CO!]

When I was young, Guatemala could’ve been on that list. But in the 70s when gasoline (& other) prices jumped suddenly, they untied their Quetzal from the USA dollar.

Look around the back corner of the building!

Oh, you can’t? So they need a longer single panel strip so we can see that side.

It doesn’t really specify that he ‘ran’ from one end of the pools to the other – he may have only done laps of the shallow end.

If he did laps of the full length of a pool with a 12’ deep end – I’m really impressed. Going up and down that steep slope must’ve taken some practice – maybe carrying weights to stay on the bottom?

He could’ve run it faster if he had waited till they emptied the pool. :)
