   They count on uninformed people (or people who simply don’t have time for court) to send in a guilty plea and pay their fine/surcharges. I’ve mentioned on these boards a few encounters I’ve had with police which were not exactly positive, and that’s led me to fight tickets whenever I can.

   How did the species survive before human intervention?

   They’d shed their hair naturally. But most sheep in the wild live in what we would consider harsh climates: steep mountainsides and cold temperatures. Overheating probably isn’t as much of an issue when they’re living around the snowcap of a mountain. Also, domestic sheep have been bred to produce more wool than their wild counterparts.

   It was just for the helo. I assume it covered the costs of fuel, pilot, and onboard nurse and paramedic. He didn’t have insurance coverage for it, so that may have played a part.
