Dang that Joe. He must be the one causing worldwide gas prices to be so dern high: Hong Kong ($10.97/gal), Norway ($9.64/gal), Denmark ($9.23/gal), Central African Republic ($9.03/gal), Finland ($8.83/gal), Greece ($8.07/gal), and Singapore ($8.40/gal), to name a few. Here in the good ‘ol USA, gas is $4.94/gal. So, what’s the hold-up, Joe? Are you gonna let them for’ners get away with having greater gas prices then us hard workin’ ‘Mericans? Yer makin’ us look like whimps. C’mon, Joe — Make America Grate again. And don’t you go pickin’ on them kind and ethical petro-companies. Dang. What’s ‘Merica cummin’ too. And, thank you Lisa for pointing out Joe’s failings in such an eloquent and informed way.
Regarding your comment to me, it evidences a fine mind and good heart. Whatever differences there are politically, this is something worthy of appreciation and respect. Press on.
Trivial. Petty. Once again, Mr. Varvel is a disappointment.
Succinct. Spot on.
Although unintended, this is rather brilliant. Instead of “no one,” the phrase “know one” is used. Ironic and superbly poetic. This must have been the result of ignorance growing out of the “peach tree” dish.
There is so much that can be said about Lisa Benson’s selective and twisted perspective. In the end, I think the most succinct observation is: “You can’t fix stupid.”
Ah, another example of the paradox of existence.
I don’t know… This sounds pretty reasonable to me.
Quite brilliant. Thanks.
