In the cartoon Tom is an Assistant DA, most notably in the R Kelly trial.
Uh, Riley confessed to Tom the DA. Not believable that there aren’t any suspects.
And I saw that as the Department of Redundancy Department, maybe on Far Side.
Huge error: Tom and Sarah live across the street form the Freemans so even if the houses are on a corner one of the streets must be Timid Deer Lane. The cartoon got this right.
Granddad declares that all marriage is wrong in both the comic strip and cartoon.
Just noticed this. Because GoComics messed up? Wouldn’t be the first time. Anyway, it’s a good sign a Sunday strip appeared; it is a repeat of the first Sunday style strip April 19, 2019.
I take issue with the spreading of gross misinformation. Try searching for “slaves who fought for British in the War of 1812” or look up the Corps of Colonial Marines. You can find hundreds of web pages, and the typical number of slaves fighting for the British is typically from 4,000 to 5,000, certainly not negligible at the time. After the war, most of these former slaves wound up in Canada or Trinidad.
Read the next line, “or the gloom of the grave.” Hirelings were mercenaries hired by the British.
Yes, when Crabgrass started it was three days a week (MWF) but every seventh strip was a long one in a Sunday style. Repeating any one of those with the current art style would be much better than skipping Sunday entirely which will hurt viewership. I hope there’s an explanation.
Thanks for the pointer to the earlier strips. It is clear how they build up to this one.
