“I met a girl at the Rainbow bar

She asked me if I’d beat her

She took me back to the Hyatt house

I don’t want to talk about it"

    - Warren Zevon

Too many Americans do not understand that one of the main goals of art, whether y’all like it or not, is to make people think. Too many more are offended by the idea that they should have to think at all. Some are completely offended that anyone should be allowed to think any thoughts that differ from their one one tiny lil’ ol’ bit.

Art is good and even necessary because it reveals all of that.

Just let some spiders and a rat loose. Tell her that her family is visiting.

So, Ultra maggot has finally come around and is hoping we vote in more Democrats to stop the ReThuglicans from preventing regulation of the oil & gas industries who are price gouging, making obscene profits (as opposed to simple capitalism and reasonable profit margins), and continuing to use our taxpayer dollars (that they do not pay their fair share into) to get federal subsidies even though they make hundreds of billions in net profits every year. Even the MAGA-ots have to admit that industry has to quit sucking on the taxpayer dollar teats while still gouging the rest of America and the world.

Oh, BTW – no POTUS has ever been able on their own to control gas prices in the USA, let alone over the entire globe. That’s complete nonsense. It’s just another stupid lie the fascist minority tries to cram down the throats of the rest of y’all. Only MAGA-ots are dumb enough to fall for that BS propaganda.

Gee, and y’all thought the ReThuglicans were going to drain the cesspool but oh look!, instead they flooded the SCROTUS with it.

    I’m shocked! Shocked, I say…

Well… No, actually not one little bit. Not one damned iota.

Squiggles doesn’t even yet get it that fascists are already taught to hate their country and although they are a small minority to want to force their twisted BS and religious dogma onto the majority of the nation’s civilians. Because that’s precisely what makes ‘em fascists. The moron can’t handle simple fractions and percents so it thinks the small number of fools like it have the right to control the majority. Y’all know, just like the inmates of the asylum want to control all of the sane folk in the rest of the world.

Well, it is a school in Arizona so what else would you expect (unless you’re rich or a politician so all y’all’s kids go to expensive private schools – especially the religious ones which they’re trying to make eligible for tax payers dollars to fund).

  8. about 1 hour ago on Steve Benson

Which is why cartoon shows are overloaded with ads, and also why kids are taught to grow up and blindly trust the government and the police. It comes as a great shock that politicians and the police are both charged with the responsibility to take care of citizens first, not themselves, because (Gasp!) that’s the very definition of their jobs.

Looks like a “conservative” “christian” (although they are in reality neither) night at home complaining about how miserable their lives are, not realizing that it’s the effects of “conservative” “christians” trying to impose their being perfectly OK with extreme corporate greed (vs simple capitalism and just not making totally obscene amounts of profits), ideals, will, and religious dogma upon everyone else. Gosh, who wouldn’t be miserable? Oh yeah, the uber wealthy oligarchy “conservative” “christians” (who are neither) who are successfully making the 1% into the much, much less than the 1% richer, and at the same time making the rest of us poor or more often even poorer.

Not in Vain. Just every place else. That Susan Collins is typical of too many folks from the state of Vain. I’ll bet that’s why Stephen King can write about so many of his characters.
