Where I live in NV the local paper is extremely expensive with fewer pages. My complaint is that evil goings on by local governmental agencies aren’t reported. According to the newspaper we live in heaven and all is right with the world!

I haven’t been to a theater since the pandemic started and found that I really don’t miss going. Between the high cost of the tickets and the obscene cost of snacks I find that my streaming services provide me with sufficient entertainment choices at lower and no cost. Also, the snacks cost less and I can press pause when a bathroom run is necessary!

When the computer starts into never-never land I start pressing zero about ten times. The computer usually responds with "I’ll connect with someone to help you "!

I have a 1999 vehicle that I love to drive and it’s made with metal with the 5-mile an hour crash capable hydraulic bumpers. Newer autos lack a front bumper and the rear is plastic with compressible foam. When I was hit in the rear (car, not me) by a distracted driver at a stop sign, I incurred no damage but the body shop told me that modern vehicles would have paid $1,200+ for the same incident. I’m keeping this as long as I can.

Being on a fixed income and living in an area that is becoming “Californaized” I’m glad you can afford to shop. Oh yeah, milk is $1 more for a gallon and bread went from $3.99 to $5.99.

I keep suggesting to US Bank customer service representatives that their fire all the IT people and hire a few teenagers to replace them. US Bank mobile app seems to be “improved” several times a month with it becoming too complex to easily use.

I’ve lived in NV 18 years now. When I moved in I thought that the state was 25 years behind the rest of the nation. I have since revised that to 50 years. This state ranks 50th in the nation for most items like affordable housing, education, senior issues, children issues, child mental health, healthcare, etc.
