I feel like this comic’s been done, nearly panel for panel, before.
If she’s studying Luann in particular, how would observing random couples help (except as part of a control group?)
Gunther is 0/2 on traveling with girlfriends.
Gunther drank the beer after eating the pepper and is just now coming out of his drunken sleep. Everything between his last week in Peru and now has been a dream, and his totem is his facial hair.
I bet he was banging his head against the wall when the Big Brother reality show was announced.
That last panel is the exact face I make whenever a panhandler tells me I’d “be more pretty if I smiled”.
Your values seem like they belong to a very specific small subset of people. Likely the Luannverse characters aren’t affiliated with that subset ergo those values don’t apply to these cartoon characters.
I hope they remain civil. Not sure why they specifically need to be “ladylike”.
Tiffany’s dad would be having a conniption.
She’s clearly looking away while Jack is getting naked and after has her eyes tightly shut, indicating that she is uncomfortable looking at Jack naked. She’s being asked to open her eyes and is refusing, indicating SHE DOESN’T WANT TO LOOK AT THE NAKED PERSON. She can’t leave the room without opening her eyes, which would risk what she’s trying to avoid. Furthermore, not leaving a room before an unexpected person walks in and strips doesn’t imply consent. Consent would be Nil telling her BEFORE any of this starts to happen and Bernice saying “yes, that’s fine”. If she needs to be coaxed, wheedled, nagged, bribed, threatened with loss of friendship or her status as “muse”, then none of what’s happening is okay or counts as consent. If she says “yes” for 10 minutes but after becomes uncomfortable again and says “no”, that’s withdrawing of consent. You probably need to write this down. If you have any questions, consult a lawyer.
