When I was a kid, I hated this song. I would skip it if I could. Now that I’m older, this is my favorite from the C, S, N & Y collective. The voice I once thought so discordant is actually very passionate and in the moment, and that’s what Crosby brought to the team —and to the world. RIP David C.

The problem with LSD is that if you don’t care for the effects, you’re stuck with them for hours. Literally. As Merry Prankster Ken Kesey (look him up) once noted to interviewer Tom Snyder, “When you do a line of cocaine ,the first thing you think is, Where can I get more cocaine? When you drop acid, you’re not thinking, Where can I get more acid? You’re thinking, How do I get OFF this stuff.”

Yes, but they haven’t even gotten that far. The chairlift line starts with that roped off area on the left in the last panel.

Regarding that anecdote about the cherry — if the child had been a little girl and the parent a Dad, don’t you think he would have gotten the stink eye for not giving it to her? Or if it was a little boy but with his dad? Parents are expected to be selfless toward their children. That’s the problem with this story as an example of male entitlement. Think of another.

What’s burning? Isn’t that smoke at the top of the last panel? Is the school on fire?

Out of all the explanations offered here (I have none) yours seems the most likely.
