Just remind yourself that you are funny and this audience is not, that’s why they have come to enjoy your show.
What a terrible diagnosis for your sister and an awful shock for all of you. Sending prayers and gentle hugs to her and all your family and hopes that the surgery will bring relief and that other treatments will give her more time and comfort. It seems she may be trying to lessen the last burdens of care for you and the rest of the family. Whatever brings the most peace of mind to her should be the goal. Blessings be upon all of you at this difficult time.
Well, that’s a heck of a way to pull a “get out of jury duty” card.
Oh, major bummer. Boops and purrs for a mild an quickly over case.
Well, in that case it is only sense that a monastery, especially if it’s a contemplative order, would be in a sparsely populated area
Prayers and all good wishes to you tomorrow morning and for peace as you prepare tonight. May the surgeons and the anesthetists be skilled and your recovery be gentle and complete.
Blessings upon you and your memories of your beloved Albert.
Corner cupboards go back centuries, modern methods not needed.
If you have small children, anything with drawers should be bolted to the wall so furniture climbing does not result in the chest falling on and crushing the child.
We used to play house beneath a big weeping willow on our grandparents place. It was a big old tree and the “ room “ underneath Wes easily 12’ in diameter and probably 4’ high. Perfect for several small kids.
I would not like that either, you find the wrong letters when the crossings don’t make sense. I am in the habit of doing the NYT crosswords every day. The mini to warm up and then the regular puzzle. I also am working backward through the archive when I want a puzzle at other times. It makes things interesting when the clues are something like “slang name for…” and you have to remind yourself that you are doing a puzzle from 2019 not this year. Or celebrity references and current events.
