For help on how to follow a comic title,
This is the first time in a long time that I have seen someone get murdered in this strip. But wait a minute, how will Marina’s absence be explained to the Ambassador? Her and Tracy running off together… nah, that dog won’t hunt.
Unseen thought bubble from Marina, " I’m glad I was sober when Ro-zan said this".
I suppose tomorrow and in the week ahead, this storyline will be a cross between H.G. Well’s “War of the Worlds” and a television episode of “The Invaders”.
By George, it’s obvious…Ro-zan and Tezla are not shucking and jiving. Marina is stunned. She did not sign up for this.
I have a feeling that Tezla will find out he had a few moments of pleasure with another woman. Either those two will battle it out over Ro-zan or Tezla will eliminate him. In that case, invasion over. Frankly, the thing never got up off of the ground.
When they gather together and hold those glasses, I am reminded of the Ace of Spades episode in the 60’s. Tracy was able to infiltrate their ranks. He’d stick out like a sore thumb trying to pass as a Moon person. Better he settle for the disguise worn by him to gather information.
Hmm…what drinks do they have in those glasses? Is there a bar in this council room?
Me too, regarding the saying. I also wondered did Marie Antonnette really make the remark, “let them eat cake”?
Ro-Zan knows what could happen…their potential romance or the invasion? He is probably the I can have my cake and eat it too kind of guy.
Now I am starting to wonder if this side trip was a set-up for a future storyline. When the invasion begins, I suppose Mike and Shelley will bring the United Nations into the picture.
