   I can see this tying in with Dana’s dilemma of buying an interest in a Football Team.

   It’s clearly a conflict of interest, if not legally, then morally.

   Football Team Owners tend to profit by a business where the highly paid Players are very likely to sustain injuries that a hospital would treat, tying up resources that would otherwise be available to those truly in need.

   Dana’s mother Eunice would have no qualms about owning a team, that brings new financially well-off customers to the hospital she also owns. It’s a win-win business wise, but a conflict of interest morally if you are truly dedicated to helping people regardless of their bank account. Dana doesn’t want to follow in her Mother’s footsteps.
