    A little off topic but in Stralsund (I believe it was) I saw the English translation from German. The name of the hospital came out “Saint Ghost” Sad really, it was on a bronze plaque.

    Your gas millage is depended in part on how much your car weighs. Carrying around a few extra pounds of gas all those years has cost you some money. I have never heard of anyone ever having problems of contamination from a half empty tank. If you live where the gas stations are far apart, that’s another matter. My third car was a VW beetle that had no gas gauge. Instead there was a lever that you had to reach down to open the reserve part of the gas tank. It was important to remember to close the valve after using it and filling the tank, and remembering it the next morning when you had to use it late at night on your way home.
