For help on how to follow a comic title,
The use of terms such as gallons per mile (GPM), which is usually reserved when talking about locomotives, or shipping, probably does apply to some of the monstrous RV vehicles traveling up and down our highways. However, perhaps the motor home in question is an EV, where its range is measured in Kilowatts per mile
Artificial intelligence could replace television ‘news’ anchors and the ‘reporters’ and ‘journalists’ of ALL purported ‘news’ gathering organizations, and the improvement would be immediately apparent. However, AI could NEVER come remotely close to replacing the pure idiocy shown by "sports casters’. (And AI could never replace all the dancing around and hand waving that are the trademarks of weather guessers everywhere).
“Lucy” and her 5 cent (two bits adjusted for inflation) psychiatric booth is on the way.
I thought this TJ guy had just shown up, out of nowhere, just a few years ago. (Oh, well, in Comic Book la-la land, one is, as Mr. Rod Serling would have said, “one is traveling in another dimension of time and space”)And, Bernice was just as an obnoxious little brat, then, as she is now.
Will she follow through, and hand it in as her assignment, OR, will she save the time, and get the satisfaction, of saying it to Bernice’s face?Time to bring this “friendship” to a head.
Rodney Daingerfield could not have said it better.
And with the name changes, the quality, (with perhaps the exception of Dunkin Doughnuts) also took a serious “shortening”.But, focus groups and the advertising agencies involved, must have saw that the ‘new’ names would appeal to the same groups that have replaced the spelling of words ending in the letter “s”, with the much more ’progressive" letter “zed”.
J. Edgar would have been equally qualified to write a ‘training’ manual on “What Female Commies Wear”.And, thus was the agent’s inspiration for raiding Mrs. Trump’s underwear drawer.Old J Edgar would have fit right in today’s DEI world.
I would suggest that you look up any of the several cases that the Institute For Justice has taken up, regarding law enforcement placing surveillance cameras on PRIVATE property, WITHOUT a warrant.
As if law enforcement will change their policies (unwritten, of course) to follow the ruling of the Supreme Court, (or any court for that matter)Since law enforcement operates under their policy, and ‘training’ that they are above the law, then the law DOES NOT apply to them.Following the law (especially the Bill of Rights) only serves as an impediment to them “doing their job”.
