I started with a $17 Airline guitar from Montgomery Wards on Christmas morning 1966. A really bad ax, but that’s all I had until I went to college and bought the Yamaha in 1972 with my student cafeteria earnings. I still play that one every day.
I know a guy who bags it and then leaves the bag. He says he’ll pick it up on the way back, but it’s still there days later.
Why wait that long?!? I’ll be 70 in 2 months, and guys younger than me or about my same age are already checking out. Life is very uncertain. I’ve enjoyed every minute of retirement since 64.
Doesn’t that mean gettin’ busy?
