Couple of weeks ago I went to Pizza Hut to pick up a pizza my husband had ordered online, the woman who came to the drive-thru window was the manager and said she was in the process of retraining her team and the pizza they’d made us to start with was unacceptable so she had had them make us a new one but bc they’d just throw it away she was giving us the original too and mentioned I’d be able to tell why she rejected it as soon as I looked at it. My husband and I studied those pizzas and never could figure out why 1 was rejected! Right size, right toppings… they appeared identical!
No doubt bc people took it way overboard (as is often the case) and for a while you literally couldn’t get away from it! Everywhere you looked it was planking this and planking that
well I looked it up, comics have been in newspapers a lot longer than I thought: since about 1895! And some like Ripley’s (since 1918) and Blondie (since 1930) have been running an exceptionally long time. BC started in 1958
This strip is from April 1966!? My mom was just a year old. Now I’m curious how long comics in the newspaper has been a thing and was BC one of the OG’s on the comics page?
I’m hardly the type to go around with a phone in my face actually! Much more likely with my nose in a book, I’ve always been a voracious reader so I’m surprised I’ve never seen the phrase before
your username and comment leads me to believe you’re a man who knows about birds lol with that assumption I’ll ask you a question: i throw birdseed out for the local wild birds here in Southern New Mexico, for about two weeks now a small crow comes out of the greasewood bushes with the quail and he’s dragging 1 of his wings. I’ve never seen him fly he just hops. I tried looking up wild bird rescues but the nearest one is about 3hrs away. Should I just leave it alone?
