Surely, you wouldn’t want me to spoil this, would you? Of course, some of us have seen it about twenty times. Maybe SOME DAY we’ll get a few new Abner comics?
I’m trying to show my enjoyment of the conoodling, but I’m afraid the falconers will give me a hard time.
…or the lettuce.
Does he get a handsome bathmat as a welcome gift?
It’s not nice to tape ducks. I agree with you, though; it goes better if you first tape up their quackers.
You could send me a present. It would be easy for you.
Thanks, Captain. I remember this poem from many years ago. It didn’t work out so well for me, because I didn’t much take to his rules, and he himself had a very poor sense of direction. He flew off and joined up with a Russian missile launcher, and I haven’t heard from him since.
I’m so happy to always learn a new word every time I’m on here. Only trouble is, I can’t find a way to use the word properly. I once got kicked painfully for using the right word in the wrong place. DANG-NABBIT!!! I just did it again. Dang, that hurts. Sorry, I got in trouble for saying “Dang-Nabbit”, which was copyrighted by one of those Florida State football coaches some time ago, which he called it a “fuhtbawl, y’all”, but I got him in trouble by telling the announcers that it was called “Fartball” which didn’t go over for TV games. By the way, it’s how the quarterback USED TO get the ball from the center which was not liked by the TV announcers. Y’all know what I mean. Especially bad when we found out that the center and the quarterback had something going, which gives a whole new meaning to the term “hike”. After that, the quarterback had to stand at least ten yards back to get the snap from center, according to the new rules. I’m not kidding. It’s the RULE!!!
I caught a terrible cold (or maybe even flu) a day after sitting beside a runny-nose lady while we were both waiting for our annual flu shots. (This was before Covid.) First time I’d ever had a flu shot.
So, THIS is what Hurricane Ian caused, back when he was still a baby?
