Not full, and dangerously so. His legs are outside the structure, s they’ll be crushed in a roll. Ouch.

I disagree with her on almost all points of policy, but she has my admiration for understanding the danger from And doing something to counter Trump. Not so sure about her attitudes towards at least some of his supporters/handlers.

Foolish me, I originally thought Anansi meant to think of others and help them. Don’t know why…..

I strongly doubt that he would have been welcome, though Jimmy is too much of a class act to have kept him out.

Just as a for your information. Drbee is correct about the Catholic Church deciding (actually rather late, 12th Century give or take I believe) to celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25 as a counter to various mid-winter celebrations. What’s less well known is that the date has been celebrated as the birth day of Mithra, son of Zoroaster, since long before Jesus. Mithraism was one of several religions that were practiced in Rome at that time and a strong favorite among their military. What’s truly ironic is that Rome “adopted” Christianity because they needed a religion that would reinforce support of a divinely appointed ruler and militarism, which early Christianity wasn’t really, and then molded it into a pseudo-Mithraism. After all, they couldn’t adopt a belief system that was from Persia, their biggest rival/foe at the time.Bottom line is that most people who celebrate Christmas now are celebrating the spirit of giving/new beginnings/family closeness etc. Even if it is expressed too much in a commercial way.

Not that I disagree, or at least not completely. Darn, I may have to watch it again to see. For the multi-zillionth time
