I moved out of Tucson in 1979, sold my 900 sqft house for 34K. Was visiting in WA at thanksgiving the following year and another couple was there, and they had sold their 900 sqft house for 135K (near Stanford U). I guess I had a house in the wrong part of the country.

Earth is a map of weather from all around the planet. The source of the maps are data made by NASA supercomputers and it is updated every three hours.

“Earth” is an amazing tool for exploring current weather conditions around the world. For adults and even mapping experts it provides an easy way to explore current events, and provides different ways of displaying a single map of the world.

The data for these maps comes from satellites in space using radio waves, and then the data is downloaded through satellite dishes all around the world, including New Zealand satellite dish sites.

called it “the aroma of Tacoma.”

It still lingers on. Althought the plant closed in ’23. Or maybe it is a Pavlovian reaction from living in South Tacoma for five years.
