We’re 100% Italian, both sides. When a certain uncle came over on Thanksgiving, my mother made all the turkey fixins AND a big bowl of spaghetti with meatballs, sausage, maybe veal, which uncle did eat. Of course, I liked all of the above and ate far, far too much on the day.
