Love Breaking Cat News. So like my four-footed brigade. Mom to Star, Orien, Ronny, Cassie, Amy, Mikey, Mosey, Timmy, JuneBug and her brother Whitey (both 18), and dogs Bunny and Lil' Girl (now 18 and not doing well).

When I got a ramp for my puppy, the cats all began to use it. In the morning before I get up there’s often a traffic jam as they all want to say “Hi” and then go back down to be ‘served’ breakfast.

My uncle, on his way to fight in the Philippines in WW2, was on a ship caught by a hurricane. He said the front of the ship was shaking hands with the back of the ship.

No, Only have one family member here and she has back trouble—I believe spinal disk (can’t remember the name) is falling apart. Also have boxes of my aunt’s fabric—she did slipcovers and Barbie clothes.

Anyone else having trouble with BCN strip? Ads covering the strip; replies to April statements reappearing; the screen rushing to the bottom of the page or freezing mid-strip. Driving me nuts!

Not so good. They want me to bring the fabric to them. I’d need a commercial van and I’m a heart patient; had open heart surgery last year.

My computer stopped cold and declared “This site is comprised.” Not computer savvy, I looked it up and this is probably why the strip was late…,“Compromised sites (or servers) are otherwise legitimate sites that are being used by hackers without the owner’s knowledge. Compromised sites are often used to house and spread malware.”GoComics was probably getting rid of the hacker virus.

Does anyone remember the TV set that could turn 95 or 180 degrees so you could turn it to the room you were in? Ours lasted for years and I saw one in an antique shop recently for $200—more than it was priced new.

Our first TV set was bought when my brother and I collected soda bottles for the 2 cents each we got when turning them in. Boy, has the price gone up since the 50s. We loved the Saturday cartoons. Once when home alone the TV (several tears old then) caught fire. Pulled the plug and called the TV repair man and yes, they actually came to your house and fixed it and the repairs weren’t outrageous.

In HS I wore quiet colors; it was my mom who bought louder colors for me, practically the satin blouse in neon colors. Some of my classmates said “she must have been mad when you got that” to which I replied "Mom’s the one who bought it. Mom also added ‘shocking pink knee-high socks to go with it. I still have both, after 55 years. Wore them a couple times at work when we’d have ‘60-70 days’. They still raise eyebrows.

Me too, but more often when I was having a migraine headache which was very often. She would pat my cheek with a paw and softly talk to me. It was pure hell when I had one after she died. Angels wear cat fur and dogs’ wagging tails.
