I first voted in 1968, the year I turned 21 (the voting age hadn’t been lowered to 18 yet). I’ve voted pretty consistently ever since, and I’m more diligent about it now than ever before.
This reminded me of the Ninja Sloth comics that appear from time to time in the “Off the Mark” strip. Ninja Cat.

I agree with you, and I do not buy eggs from factory farms. But my original comment was referring to the (unfortunately) majority of supermarket eggs.
The vast majority of supermarket eggs are produced on large factory farms, where roosters are not used in the process. Thus, no fertilization.
The eggs you buy at the supermarket are sterile (unfertilized), so they never would have become baby chicks.
Why are you making a ridiculous assumption that people don’t know where food comes from just because they don’t live on a farm?
I ordered turkey bacon in a Denny’s once. Bleecch! Couldn’t even eat it.
