I agree about balloons. The air-filled ones are a menace too, when they snag in trees, deflate, and then kill birds. Yet people still do balloon releases in “honor” of causes.
My first cat wasn’t allowed on the bed, even though she really wanted to. After she passed I got a kitten, and I couldn’t keep her off. She just kept jumping up and keeping me up all night trying to stop her. So I’ve had cats on my bed ever since. And now it makes me sad to think of my first cat, Babe, never being allowed on the bed.
Most sources are saying it’s ok to use cast iron on glass cooktops, as long as you handle it carefully and don’t scrape it around on the glass. I’ve used cast iron on mine occasionally.
Of the 5 cats I’ve had, two had to be spayed (the other three were older and already spayed when I got them). Anyway, the two kittens I had spayed did not have cones.
As many have pointed out before, gentle sniping is one way some couples, especially older couples, communicate. That forms part of the basis of this strip. BTW, did you know you’re not required to read any strips that you don’t like?
