I am a medical coder and specialize in the trauma cases. Yep, those devices lead to some of the most gruesome consequences. Cut and mangled fingers that require the fixing of skin, arteries, tendons, muscles, bones…you name it. Those are the charts my colleagues skip over because they’re so super complicated to code….and so I’m the one that usually winds up doing them! It’s difficult enough being the coder…let alone the surgeon…let alone that patient!
My mother read a lot to me, especially in my pre-school days. She said it was the only way she could get me to sit still. By the time I started school I was ALREADY an excellent reader.
I remember the speed of time varying depending on the time of year. It moved unbelievably quickly during weekends and vacations, and moved extremely slowly during the school year, and became EXCRUCIATINGLY slow in the weeks leading up to Christmas or birthdays.
That’s the one issue with Hawaii – you see a lot of rainbows but you get a lot of rain! When I was in Hawaii it was raining so steadily we couldn’t really leave the hotel room for the first five days. Only because it happened to be my honeymoon did that turn out to be OK anyway!
If you’re lucky enough to see a rainbow while you’re still on the plane to Hawaii (or anywhere else for that matter) before it’s landed, you might get to see a WHOLE CIRCLE rainbow!
Especially if they haven’t read the Bible ENOUGH!
