And sheesh, I know it was “the norm” to smoke in Jim’s generation (even with the reboot, I think?) but it’s so dangerous and I’ve lost relatives to it (and so have a lot of you, scrolling the comments). The modern world isn’t perfect, but banning smoking in a lot of places makes it more pleasant.

Interestingly, the original (September 12 1993) didn’t have a helmet. That was about when bike helmets were really taking off…and for good reason, I’ve personally known people who would have been greatly injured had they not been wearing a helmet. I’m not sure how much of a threat it is for a trike, since they’re balanced better and kids tend to be around adults when they are on them, but it’s a good habit to install in a young kid.
Oh no, in that panel he is holding her hand therefore technically laying a hand on her, next comic Mike is going to be flattened on a road. This comic is getting too scary for me.
If Greg is still mad at Lawrence for being gay I hope that tent that Mike was throwing around in that Sunday strip hits Greg in the head.
