@Sherlock5 is right. When I was about 3, my sister, mom and I were in the local paper because our goats got out one day. It wasn’t even a big deal – we had them rounded up before the reporter even got to the house. They got my mom’s permission to re-release a few of them so they could get a couple of shots of tiny little me and my 6 year old sister chasing and rounding them up again to accompany the story.

They never said he was good at it :P Look at Foxtrot…. Roger Fox loves to golf, but he also stinks at it XD

She way over-complicated this. “It doesn’t say how many WILL you buy for 10 cents, it says how many COULD you buy.”

I believe there is a strip somewhere where she is talking to Yolanda and mentioned she did exactly that… XD

I know this will be an unpopular opinion, especially as it’s supposed to be HIS favorite memory, but she has already had a note home from school about one child who shared a diarrhea-themed memory and probably doesn’t want a second.

(Zoe, back in Mr. Doyle’s class, shared a post-Christmas memory involving eating so much chocolate she had the runs for two days. They got a complaint note home and spoke to her about judgement, and she justified that she was simply answering what they asked her.)

Does anyone else think Darryl’s shadow looks like Beaker from the Muppets? XD

Not 100% certain, but I think she’s simply finishing tucking in her shirt after hurrying out of the bathroom. Wanda is usually shown wearing pants with elastic waists XD

Actually, not that far fetched, when you think that Dextrose, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, fructose, glucose, maltose, and sucrose are all different names for types of sugar, and cereal (especially that marketed towards kids) usually have more than one. Add to that carbohydrates (like grains, which most cereals are based off) generally break down into more sugar, and it may well give them less sugar to just eat pure cane sugar from the bowl.

And that is not counting things like maltodextrin, which technically isn’t a sugar, but is a carb and is often used as a sugar substitute in many things, since it allows them to lower the amount of declared sugars in a product while still basically giving you sugar XD

As an example, I have a box of a sugared shredded wheat cereal I loved as a kid, but now eat as an occasional desert as an adult. The ingredients start with wheat, then go to sugar, then rice flour, then fructose, then maltodextrin, then dextrose, before heading to other things, like cinnamon and preservatives. Of the first seven ingredients, all but one are either a sugar or a carbohydrate (where I live, ingredients have to be listed from highest to lowest amount in a product).

Fair enough. It probably has something to do with the way recessive genes work, as I know both red and blonde are recessive, but it gets confusing to me.

You are not wrong, and I often suck big pans with baked-on bits to soften them and make them easier to remove… but his thought “Told ya” in the last panel hints at a more sinister motive. Possibly along the lines of knowing that, if he waited and she saw it, she would do exactly what she said and just wash it herself, saving him the work.

I have been on the receiving end of this before, but I’m a tad wiser to it now XD
