Dang…that comic (and text) is tiny.
Yeah….too tiny to read cursive.
I guess you can call a funeral a “celebration”.
Awwwww…that’s not very nice. Oh well…he IS old. Really freaking old. Still…
Darn, Ken…I’m so sorry. I and my cat and family and family cats all send our sympathy, and understanding about the loss. It sucks.
Ahh, dang. This entirely too long story line has ended my fandom. How can I read it when I despise characters who used to be sympathetic. So long.
For years now, the artists have protested newspapers shrinking the comics…now with the net, they may have just given up, and decided to troll comics readers a bit to encourage THEM to protest comics shrinkage. At this point, I’m anxious for my cataract surgery, so I can read ANY of them again, without having to zoom individual frames.
I was wishing the font was bigger, as well. Perhaps after cataract surgery it’ll be easier…for a while, at least.
My apologies. I’d been under the impression it WAS at the mouth. I hadn’t explored far enough to realize it was just a port ON the Columbia…accessible to the ocean, but not actually on it. Astoria and Seaview are nearer to the mouth…but Portland is really the port for that stretch…hence my confusion. Well, you live and you learn, or you don’t live long.
I was going to ask where you thought Portland IS? You know that the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean there, right?
