At her local library or from the bookshelf in her own house. It’s dad’s copy and he knows she is reading it.

I have a roommate who has demolished 3 laptops and then begs me to fix it.

I owned a dog who was about 45 pounds. We got one of those appropriate for his size – supposedly. He could go from 0 to 60 in about 2 seconds and broke the line. The second one he broke the catch that prevents it from reeling out. The third one was sized for a 100 pound dog. Came close to breaking my wrist. I have always used a non-retractable leash since for all my dogs.

Who cares? Let them eat cake. (Yes, I know that quote is likely not attributable to M. Antoinette.)

    Green chili turkey enchiladas

Since inflation is not calculated for all commodities, but only a few, I take that 8.2% with a heart stopping spoon of salt. We happen to have an EV and so no gasoline pain. Electricity is pretty stable compared to last year so no big hit there. Cheese is way up in price, but most everything else we buy seems to be about the same as it always has been. I remember buying milk for 25 cents a gallon in the late 60s – early 70s. Gasoline was also 25 cents a gallon. Those prices will never return. Just as well. And yeah, we always eat our left overs.

What is the deal? Turkeys were $0.98 per pound and we bought enough groceries to get ours for free. Granted, there have been years when turkeys were less than that per pound, but it is hard to get less than free. And there have been years when they were more than that per pound. People are over reacting to a non-existant problem.
