The risk with that, of course, is that he still ends up with parts that no one will want for years—like that brake cable for a Yugo, or something that only fits a Daihatsu Charade or Buick Reatta or something—until he tosses it, of course…… The idea is to make enough money of the stuff that DOES sell, of course, to pay for the dumpster……

Unfortunately, with some parts it’s absolutely worth the extra expense to be able to open the box on the spot and verify that it’s exactly the right part. I have, among other things, gotten the wrong fuel pump or throttle position sensor or the like packaged in the correctly labeled box, or other times there have been “running changes” in either the car’s manufacture or the parts production, or even a point so fine as “DON’T get the motor mount with the frowny-mouth cut-out; get the solid block one which only two companies make anymore…..”

In addition, the shipping charges from the online e-tailers can eat you alive, especially if the parts ordered come from three different warehouses……….

Even Rush Limbaugh openly acknowledged, many times, that there was a difference between a “feminist” (someone standing up for women’s rights and equality) and a “Feminazi” (his term for the most militant, anti-male hatemongers out there—and often the ones making headlines for spewing their misandry).

I have seen allegations, with some evidence, that a good 95% or more of the members of the various supposed “Flat Earth Societies” are simply trolling the rest of society with their memberships, or even the society’s mere existence. Unfortunately, if they are, it seems to be working.

To all the idiots insisting on calling Cybertrucks “Swasticars”…………

………….. what terminology do you use for the cars made by a company literally establish by Adolf Hitler, i.e. VOLKSWAGEN?

  6. 7 days ago on Pearls Before Swine

The odd part is, no one whatsoever uses that term about a car company that is 100% legitimately a founding of Germany’s leader of the National Socialist Party—VOLKSWAGEN…………….

If you’re not willing to call a Volkswagen a “Swastikar,” but eager to call a Tesla vehicle that, then you are totally blind to reality.

I do neither. It’s a vehicle. It’s not mine, and it’s not doing anything differently to me than all the other vehicles out there. Now, someone riding a motorcycle or driving a sports car in an obnoxious and/or threatening manner, that’s a different story…….

Examples of this “duck philosophy”, please? Developing and promoting EVs? Starting a space company? Having ambitions for Mars exploration by humans? I don’t remember any of those in “Mein Kampf”…. nor was “alinging with Trump/reduction in government expenditures”……………

    “Lack of leftist censorship/repression” =/= “Fascism”/“Nazi-ism”.

Maybe it does in the eyes of those who have spent years ensconced in a leftist bubble of groupthink, but not in the real world.
