    As usual, the strategy started off well. “Is your dog okay?” “It’s the heat.” Red should have then suggested he buy a lemonade to keep cool rather than buy a lemonade to splash over Rover.

    After all, he is Rover’s human and he already has the lemonade. If he isn’t prepared to splash the lemonade over his own dog, why should anyone else?
